Inventory Management

Inventory management software that knows where everything is

Accurate stock across every warehouse, batch and serial number — valued in real time against your ledger, and answerable in plain English when someone asks "how much do we actually have?"

LedgerOne’s inventory management is built on the Frappe/ERPNext stock engine: a real-time stock ledger where every receipt, transfer, delivery and adjustment is an immutable entry. Multi-warehouse structures, batch and serial-number tracking, expiry dates, units of measure and barcode support come standard — and because inventory lives inside the same ERP as purchasing, sales, manufacturing and accounting, stock levels and stock value are always consistent with the books. No sync jobs, no "the system says 40 but the shelf says 12."

Getting answers out is just as direct. Reorder alerts and valuation reports are built in, and the AI workbench handles everything the report menu doesn’t: ask "which items haven’t moved in 90 days?" and LedgerOne writes and runs a safe, read-only SQL query on your live stock ledger, showing the query alongside the answer.

The problem

Sound familiar?

Stock counts nobody believes

Disconnected systems drift apart until physical counts become dispute resolution. A single real-time stock ledger keeps every location, batch and serial accountable.

Cash buried in dead stock

Slow movers hide in averages. Ask LedgerOne which items haven’t moved in a quarter — and how much cash they’re sitting on — and act before the write-down.

Stockouts you saw coming — too late

Reorder levels per item and warehouse trigger automatic material requests, and plain-English queries surface at-risk items before customers feel it.

Inventory Management

What you get

Every capability below ships in the same platform as the rest of your ERP — no add-on modules, no integration projects.

Multi-warehouse control

Model warehouses, zones and bins in a hierarchy; transfer between locations with full traceability of what moved, when and why.

Batch & serial tracking

Track batches with expiry dates and individual serial numbers from goods receipt to delivery — recall-ready traceability in both directions.

Real-time valuation

FIFO or moving-average valuation posts to the general ledger with every movement, so stock value on the balance sheet is never an estimate.

Reorder automation

Per-item, per-warehouse reorder levels that raise material requests automatically — purchasing starts before the shelf goes empty.

Stock movement analytics

Fast/slow-mover analysis, ageing and turnover reports built in — and any question they don’t cover, the AI workbench answers on demand.

Connected purchasing & sales

Stock reservations from sales orders, receipts from purchase orders and consumption from work orders — inventory reacts to the whole business automatically.

AI Workbench

Ask your warehouse anything

Inventory questions are urgent, specific and endless — exactly what the AI workbench is for. Every answer is produced by a validated, read-only SQL query on your live stock ledger, shown transparently and recorded in the audit log. Warehouse leads and buyers self-serve; the ERP stays untouched.

  • Which items are below reorder level right now, by warehouse?

  • What stock hasn’t moved in 90 days and what is it worth?

  • Show me batches expiring in the next 60 days.

  • What was our inventory turnover by item group last quarter?
